The best dumplings in Houston. I've been eating here for lunch for over 5 years and they are still delicious. The quickest place for lunch.

I like the place

Love their veggie dumplings. These are by far the best dumplings I’ve had in Houston. I love whenever I get the chance to order some when I’m in the park shops. I will say I like their veggie dumplings better than their pork dumplings. Although the pork is very good, the veggie ones are my favorite (and I’m a big meat eater!) Really good stuff.

Amazing dumplings at a great price. Owners of this place are from China and super nice and super efficient. I’ve had dumplings from Boston, SF, NYC, and of course lots of places in mainland China around Beijing and Hangzhou and these hold up very well in comparison! Excellent find, glad I explored the tunnels of downtown to find this place!

Best steam dumplings in downtown. Price has tax included so make it easy. Try the hot and sour soup. Make it a combo deal for lunch is the best deal for your money.

Moved from Houston but every time I am back I come here for lunch at least once. Very fast and incredible tasty. I always get a large order, half spinach and half pork is the way to go

Way over hyped. Dumplings are way too doughy but I guess if that's your thing then this is the place. I also didn't get why everyone raves about the flavor, not that great.

Pricey Dumplings are yummy and fast service too, given the long lines. Despite the best tasting dumplings IMHO, I stopped going here because of the "grim faced" sales lady (likely owner). She seems not too interested to receive or serve her guests, but more keen to turn them over quickly. Never seen her smile or interact (even when no crowd).

Worth walking across downtown to grab dumplings here. I recommend the spicy pork dumplings. The line moves very fast, so don't let it's length turn you away.

Best dumplings in all of Houston, including Chinatown. The dumplings are handmade. There are veggie options, too. The only set back is that it has a foodcourt-like setting, not very enjoyable atmosphere, but the line moves very quick!

Favorite downtown dumplings so far and there are so many to choose from. The flavor and texture are always perfect. Try the spicy pork or shrimp... those are my fav.

Went here with high expectations after hearing about it from several people. It was”eh”. I had the pork dumplings. While the dipping sauce was quite good, albeit spicy (but not over the top spicy), the dumplings themselves were way too doughy for my taste. The pork filling was flavorful but I ended up discarding most of the actual dumpling because it was too thick and chewy.

The homemade dumplings here are decent, fillings and texture slightly different from your typical dumpling.

It's good for calories conscious folks. Good for 1 time try. And not so recommended for taste freak who doesn't care how many calories they are in taking.

I've been getting their dumplings (large 10-pc. pork and large 10-pc. veggie) for years now. Ask for extra spicy sauce if you like it spicy. I've also introduced it to my friends by driving all the way to downtown during a work lunch. Every one of them liked it too. I'll definitely go as much as I can. Sometimes I order extra to take home for dinner.

Awesome quick lunch

By far the best place in this food court. The dumplings are available in half or full orders. The line is always long but moves very fast, so be sure you have your order ready when you get up to the counter.

Dumpling size reduces every yet and the price goes up with it. I can't believe she charges $9 for this now. Not going to dozos anymore

Absolutely amazing dumplings. I'm addicted to them. A box of 10 definitely fills you up. A little expensive for my liking, but the quality is definitely up there. The hours are also only during lunch time, so you can't come during dinner, but the dumplings are still phenomenal!

The dumplings come in two sizes: large (10) or small (5). You can have chicken, pork, or veggie (spinach based). You can do a half and half on a large order.Spring roll has some white meat in it ( not sure if chicken or pork). I am not a fan of very spicy foods but the spicy sauce is not hot but very flavorful. Anyone can handle it. The dumplings are good, maybe a little too much dough. Service is fast since everyone should know what they want to order.

Awesome dumplings at a good price! They pre-box the dumplings however, so they typically aren’t hot unless you visit off peak hours.

Doozo has really good dumplings. They are quite big and very flavorful. The sides are not remarkable, but 10 dumplings in and you won't regret passing up mediocre fried rice. Make sure you go early in the lunch rush (before 12:30) to ensure you don't get the last of the batch. I would encourage you to go with someone who has been before as the first timers are seemingly always blindsided by the speed at which you are expected to complete your order, pay, and get outta there. It's very much a well oiled machine - with very low tolerances.

For the longest time, it's a good place for dumplings. Used to be known as the Dumpling Nazi. It has a long line, you have to order your dumplings right away. The dipping sauce is the winner to me.Not sure what happened yesterday, as if the cook suddenly forgot or threw away the recipe. The skin was thick (it happened sometimes), they put Sriracha into the hot sauce, and the meat was dry like canned corned beef. I hope the figure it out.

I judge all Asian dumplings against the Doozo's standard... and all others come up short. My favorite is their pork dumplings, extra sauce, extra spicy.

Tried many dumpling places around town and this place has the best for the value and sauce. Near by places have more traditional dumpling that don't match the size texture and SAUCE. Tip: try biting into the dumpling to make a hole and then fill the rest of the dumpling with the sauce, you will get a flavor explosion!!

Best dumplings I’ve had! I usually only get fried dumplings everywhere they only have steamed ones here but so firm and juicy. The dipping sauce is amazing. Got the 10 half chicken half pork both just amazing. Came during holidays which is probably why no lines and easy to find parking but I can imagine how packed it gets during regular days. Will try to come again soon

Freshest and best dumplings in Houston!!

Nice place for a quick bite. Very simple and straightforward menu, but the food is good. Large and small dumplings in pork, chicken, and veggie. The spring roll was delicious, the fried rice wasn't typical but it was tasty.

Well, after a recent bad experience with the vegetable dumplings - the spinach was so fibrous and stringy, the dumplings were inedible. I tried again today, but the wrappings were tough, chewy and the dumplings were cold - they had a weird taste! That's it!!! NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!

Best dumplings ever!

If you like steamed dumplings with thick wrappers, this is the place to go. Almost like "dumpling Nazis", so you'd better know exactly what you want by the time you get to the front of the line, or it will feel awkward. On the bright side, the line moves very fast, so don't be discouraged by a long line.

Located in The Shops at Houston Center, Doozo offers authentic hand-made steamed dumplings in pork, chicken and veggie varieties, plus soups, fried rice, spring rolls, and seasonal fresh fruits as sides. Dumplings are made fresh every day. $7.00 for 10 dumplings, or $8.50 for 10 plus a small side (fried rice or soup). Line can be very long during peak lunch hours, but moves very quickly.

Pork dumplings were very good. Get the large, as the sides aren't really worth it. I wish the combo came with a drink instead of the soup. They have free water available. Get there early, because the line gets a little crazy.

Good stuff. The pork dumplings are great. The spring roll isn't as good as a lot of other places, but it is quite large. Good value for the money compared to a lot of other places. Better than the dumpling place down in the tunnels nearby.
